Operator panel switches off soon after it's powered up

This is because the remote power function is turned is on. Turn the unit on, press and hold the F4 button until you get into the set-up menu.  The indicator will remain on while you scroll to in the I/O menu and change Input One from "Remote Power" to disabled.
