Weight reading is drifting
Confirm that this happens when a weight is placed on
the scale and not touched, and nobody is moving around the scales (movement of
the floor/desk can be transmitted to the scale if these are touching the scale,
which will appear as if the weight reading is unstable).
Check for damage to
the load cell cable from the indicator to the scale base junction box. Check
for damage to the cables attached to the load cells. Open the junction box to
expose the connections of the load cells, and check that all terminals are
tight and the wires are not loose. Check that no wires are damaged or caught
under the metal case of the junction box. If the weight drift still occurs, open
a support ticket for further assistance.
